Caption: Lake Eyre in flood is a national iconic event; in 2011 and 2010 Lake Eyre filled from the Cooper Creek in all its watery glory. Colours from rich red to muddy browns to crystal dark blue invade the dry red sand landscape and microscopic organisms come into being for a short life once more.
