Materials: Commercial wool fabric, silk, voile and metallic voile. Edge is satin silk finished as a blanket
Techniques: Fused appliqué and machine quilting

Caption: The challenge of a wool quilt where the wool is the centre of construction and the other layers are applied was too much for me to ignore. A wet blanket is a play on words; the blanket is a plaid pattern and my squiggle technique applied water to the wool blanket
